Cynthia Wirt

R.D.H.

Cynthia graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Allied Health with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her many years of experience enable her to provide expert meticulous treatment, while her calm personality contributes to her gentle care. She is licensed to administer anesthesia if needed for advanced periodontal procedures. She has helped many patients overcome their dental fears, while providing education and outstanding treatment to achieve optimal oral health.

Cynthia has ties to both the eastern and western part of Kentucky. She grew up in Owensboro, and then after college lived in Prestonsburg, practicing Dental Hygiene in Pikeville for 20 years. She moved to Lexington in 2000, where she continued to work as a Dental Hygienist. Being a UK alumni, she is an avid UK fan, and all around sports enthusiast. She is the proud owner of three “rotten” mini dachshunds, and spends most of her spare time with friends and family, where she especially enjoys spoiling her four grandchildren.

Elizabeth Hurst

Head Assistant

Elizabeth grew up in Eastern Kentucky and graduated from Powell County High School. She has worked as a pharmacy technician at Kroger for several years, before joining the Monson Family Dentistry Team . She has been Dr. Monson's assistant since November of 2016. Elizabeth lives in Lexington, with her husband of 25 years. Together, they have raised 3 beautiful children. The eldest daughter gave them a football- playing grandson. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and hiking with their boxer, Kimber.
